Gestapo Take Over in Arizona!!! Really?

As you heard on the news or by friends and family, a law passed in Arizona. This law has been twisted and misunderstood and caused some protests to spawn in Arizona and neighbouring states. The misunderstanding is this.
-You will be confronted on the street or wherever to see if you have your “papers” that will prove your legal status. – That is the made up part.
- You will be confronted on the street or wherever you committed a crime or violation of a law and in the process you might be asked for your papers- that is the real part
In the bill it says that it can be “lawful and reasonable” contact not an unlawful one. Like it says in the bill

A PEACE OFFICER MAY LAWFULLY STOP
ANY PERSON WHO IS OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE IF THE OFFICER HAS REASONABLE
SUSPICION TO BELIEVE THE PERSON IS IN VIOLATION OF ANY CIVIL TRAFFIC LAW

So if you were told about some scary Gestapo or Government control scare, take it out of your head because it is not true.
In addition, I reviewed many videos of the President on this topic. I believe he is one of many who started the stir of this “let me check your papers”. At a town hall meeting at Ottumwa, IA, the president addressed many issues one of them the new law in Arizona. Now what made my jaw drop was this part. He said “You take your kid out to get ice cream, you’re going to be harassed (for your papers)” Whoa; well he clearly can’t read a bill (Health Care Bill). Now this is what he should of said “You take your kid out to get ice cream and you throw the ice cream at the police officer nearby, you will be charged for assault and then asked for your papers to verify your legal status”
I see some people are unhappy about this law but not all on that chart above.

But anyways, this law was meant to do three things. Discourage illegal from coming into Arizona, kick illegal out of the United States, and lastly to open the eyes of the Federal Government. The government should do what it was set to do. “PROTECT THE BORDERS” I will go into the later post about our foreign policy and how we protect other countries’ borders but not ours. But for now, I believe its law should stay in effect until a wall is built or the National Guard is sent to protect the border.
